On Saturday my roommates and I had our roommate pictures taken by the lovely Darrian Watts. Although the pictures haven't been edited, Darrian did make us a video.

Reasons why my roommates find me weird.

1. I put my peanut butter in the fridge.
(I think warm peanut butter is GROSS)

2. I keep my bread in the refrigerator.
( when I think bread left outside, I think mold. SICK!)

3. I put chile on my fruit.
(I think it gives it flavor)

4. I put Tapatío on my pizza & popcorn.
( I'm Mexican, so shoot me. Blame it on my Dad)

5. I put my syrup in the fridge.

all about guys.

As I was looking over my collection of Seventeen Magazines with my lovely roommate Becca we stumbled upon the following quote from Joel, 19, harvard university.

"College guys pretty much want three things: beer, sex, and food. If you can provide two out of those three things for a guy, he'll pretty much love you."

Thanks for the advice Joel, but considering two out of the three are illegal at BYU, I guess I'll have to rely on food. Let's pray my cooking will get me through the next two years.

it's that time again.

LU'AU practices have started up again. Where has all the time gone?
This year I'm dancing Samoa & Tahiti (shoutout to mi hermana Dahlia).
Honestly, I wasn't too excited about Tahiti. I've never danced Tahitian before.
Funny thing during practice I felt like I was participating in an audition I didn't sign up for.
Our section leader Crystal was going around to each group watching us and then taking notes.
I got sent to the stage alone with 1 other girl from my group and all the polys.
Apparently, 18 girls are getting special dresses made, and I'm one of the 18 out of like 150.
I was surprised because honestly I kind of think I suck.I guess my hips don't lie?

52 promising weeks.

So I lied. I said I was going to update the blog on January 1st, but in my defense, I was at Disneyland which I think is a pretty good reason for not updating the blog...I'm excited for the new year, for some reason I have a good feeling about this year. Things are going to happen this year. good things.

New Years Resolutions.
- Read the Book of Mormon in Spanish 10 mins. a day
- Magnify my calling- Get to know EVERYONE in my new ward.
- Email my brother every Tuesday missionary style
- Write the missionaries I know at least once every 3 months.
- Be kinder in actions, thoughts, & DEEDS.
- Exercise more
- Be me :] the real me.
